Purchase and Refund Terms
These terms cover the two ways to pay for Augurhall: memberships through Patreon and fight packs through our reseller. They are part of the Terms of Service.
1. Memberships through Patreon
The paid tiers ($5, $10 and $15 a month; see section 3 of the Terms of Service) are memberships of our Patreon campaign. You join, pay, change tier and cancel on Patreon, and Patreon's own terms apply to the payment, its renewal, cancellation and refunds. Prices on Patreon may include or add tax as Patreon shows at checkout.
Your Augurhall tier follows your membership: it changes when you sign in with Patreon or link Patreon on the account page, when Patreon tells us of a change, and in any case at a nightly check. If a payment fails you keep your tier for 3 days. When the membership ends, the account returns to the free tier.

2. Fight packs
A fight pack adds fights to your account that you use after your month's credits run out.

- Seller. Packs are sold by Stripe, through its Managed Payments service, which acts as merchant of record: it is the seller in the sale, takes payment, charges any sales tax or VAT due where you live and sends you the receipt or invoice. Its own terms of sale apply to the payment.
- Delivery. The fights are added to your account as soon as Stripe tells us the payment is complete, normally within moments. The checkout carries your Augurhall user id, and the reference of your confirmation that you waive the right of withdrawal, so the fights reach the right account.
- Using them. Pack fights are used only after the month's credits are spent, the oldest pack first. A pack unlocks no feature: what you can do still depends on your tier.
- Expiry. A pack expires 12 months after purchase. Fights not used by then are lost.
- Account deletion. Deleting your account deletes your packs and any fights left in them.
3. Your right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you normally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.
For fight packs, the fights are digital content delivered at once. Before you go to checkout, we ask you to tick a box confirming that:
- you ask for the fights to be delivered immediately, before the 14-day withdrawal period ends; and
- you understand that you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery has begun.
We record this confirmation with the time and the version of these terms. Because the fights are added to your account as soon as the payment is confirmed, you have no right of withdrawal for a fight pack once it is delivered. If the delivery never happens, the right of withdrawal stays.
Memberships are bought on Patreon, and Patreon's terms say whether and how a withdrawal or refund is available.
4. Refunds
We want you to get what you paid for. Write to support@augurhall.com with your order number if:
- a pack was paid for but its fights did not reach your account;
- you were charged twice for the same order; or
- the service did not work and you could not use the fights.
When a refund is granted, Stripe returns the money to the way you paid, and all of the pack's unspent fights are removed from your account at the same moment, whether the refund is full or partial. Fights already spent stay spent. A result that differs from what happened at your table is not, on its own, a fault: results are estimates (Terms of Service, section 1).
This section does not limit your statutory rights, including your rights if the digital content is not as described or does not work.
